Calculate 1 rep max
December 17th, 2009 Phit Admin
Often times, as you advance in your weight training, you will need to know what your 1 Rep Max (1RM) is. Once upon a time you figured this out by saddling up to the weight bench with a couple of spotters that you trusted with your life, and pumped the weight.
Steve over at Project Swole has a great calculator that lets you figure it out on the computer. Enter in the amount of weight that you can move for a given number of reps. Hit the calculate button, and viola, it gives you your 1RM.
Now you have no more excuses for getting stronger, so I’ll see you in the gym.
